How your data is handled

Your resume file never leaves your device. PDF and DOCX parsing runs inside your browser. Only the extracted text is sent to our scoring service.

Nothing is stored during the beta. The extracted resume text and the job description are processed to generate your report and are not saved to any database by JobKundali. Refresh the page and the report is gone.

AI processing. Scoring uses a third-party AI model provider (currently OpenAI) under their API data-usage terms; API inputs are not used to train their models. The ATS readability section is computed by our own code with no AI involved.

Rate limiting. We keep a temporary daily counter (your browser's local storage, and a short-lived per-network counter) solely to enforce free-tier limits. No accounts, no tracking pixels, no ads.

Questions or deletion requests: email hello@jobkundali.com. Since we don't store your documents, there is usually nothing to delete — but ask us anything.

Last updated: July 2026. This policy will be updated before any feature that stores data (e.g. accounts or scan history) launches, and storage will always be opt-in and clearly labelled.
